***Guest Instructor Miss Hannah***
We are very excited to have Hannah Arras from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet joining us for our June 4 Day Dance Workshop this June. Miss Hannah will be teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. Miss Hannah has a background in a variety of dances. Her bio is below:
The first pair of dance shoes Hannah Arras put on were tap shoes. From street tapper to ballerina, Hannah began her ballet training studying the Vaganova method. In 2007, she was a trainee in Cor Ignis Dance Company, based out of Juarez, Mexico. She has studied with several professional intensive summer programs such as the Texas Ballet Theatre, the Chicago Ballet, Ballet Magnficiat!, and the Milwaukee Ballet. She attended Oklahoma City University to study dance performance where she took courses in tap, ballet, and musical theatre. In 2010, Hannah co-pioneered the Ailé Dance Theatre in West Kilbride, Scotland and danced as a member of the company for their first season. Throughout her travels she has seen how universal the fine arts are and how they break barriers and bring healing to people from every walk of life. Hannah’s heart is to see people find a sense of self-confidence and purpose through the arts. Hannah is currently studying with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s professional division teacher training program and working to attain her Bachelor’s degree in Child Studies.
